Souris Hospital
Our 17-bed community hospital offers inpatient, ambulatory and extended care, with lab and X-ray on site, so most tests and treatment never mean a drive to Charlottetown.
- Sysmex blood analyzer with digital cell imaging — $125,000 (2025)
- Pyxis MedStation computerized medication dispensing — $65,000
- Digital X-ray suite, co-funded with the Province — $400,000 (2016)
- EKG heart monitoring system and a defibrillator for the lower level
- Accessible tub room with patient lift, Century Tub and new shower room
- Pressure-redistribution mattresses, stretcher, over-bed tables, isolation and medication carts
Colville Manor
Our long-term care home in Souris lets residents stay close to the families and friends who visit them. Gifts buy equipment and materials that improve residents’ daily lives.
- CPR training equipment and AED training for staff
- Positioning chairs, shower chairs and other comfort and safety equipment
- A $41,000 Nursing Anne patient simulator for training current and new staff
Home Care & Palliative Care
When a senior falls and needs special equipment to stay mobile and independent, or a family is caring for someone at the end of life, the Foundation helps make it possible at home.
