Why should I donate? Isn’t health care government funded?
Government covers only part of the cost of medical equipment. Eastern Kings Health Foundation raises funds for the equipment and technology our health care providers need to diagnose, treat and care for patients in our community.
Can my donation go to a specific area?
Yes. Gifts without a designation go where the need is greatest, but you can direct your gift to a specific program, department or piece of equipment. Contact us to learn more.
What is the minimum donation for a tax receipt?
Paper receipts are issued for gifts of $20 or more. Online donations receive an e-receipt with no minimum.
How long will it take to receive my tax receipt?
Online gifts get an emailed receipt right away. For gifts by mail or phone, we aim to process your receipt within 7 business days.
